Everything I touched turned to Paris Grey....

I clearly had too much time on my hands yesterday. I set out to paint one picture frame Annie Sloan's Paris Grey and next thing I knew I was just going and grabbing random things and painting them. Before I knew it, I had painted 8 more picture frames, a nightstand, and 2 candleholders. I took all these pictures on my iphone so please forgive the bad quality.

I forgot to take a before picture of the first frame that got me on a role but it was avocado green when I started. I bought this without glass at a yard sale for a few dollars along with the round one to follow which I did manage to get a before and after of.

After:
I distressed with a sanding sponge and underneath the green, gold was peaking out. Love the end result of the colors. This frame got added the gallery wall that I'm working on and will be sharing with you soon!

Love this candleholder but was on a mission to lightnen up the things I have sitting around.

Candleholder #2. Also forgot to take a before but have another one just like it only bigger that didn't become a grey victim.

It's amazing how paint can make a difference. I'll show you the nightstand when i finish her up with a sanding block and some wax.

White Love!

If you haven't been able to tell by my kitchen, bathroom and other areas in my home....i LOVE white. Especially with my wood floors being sooo dark, I need white to help brighten things up and of course add to the cottage look that I'm totally obsessed with. If only i had the guts to paint the wood floors in just one room in my house white. I've seen it done and it's fab! I will settle instead for some antique white walls in my very near future.

Today, I wanted to share my fireplace transformation in my bedroom. When I bought my home, it was one of the first things that i painted white. I was sold!!

This was before Annie Sloan chalk paint exploded but how adorable would this be painted Old White with the detail in Paris Grey?!?

Fab Fall Boots

The 2 main reasons fall is my favorite time of year...Football and Fall Boots!
I got so anxious for boot time this year that decided I needed a pair of short boots or booties that I could wear with shorts and then transition to jeans when it gold cold.
I mean look how cute all of these outfits are with booties:

After much consideration, I chose these:
They are Joie brand and I'm in love with Joie now!
So easy to slip on and makes every outfit cute.
Joie Boots

I was also on the search for some tall black boots. I did not own one pair of tall black boots...how is that even possible? Not sure, but I'm the proud owner of these black Frye's.

Good black boots are hard to come by. These are a great all-around boot. They are sexy, dressy yet casual, bit of a heel but not too much. And because they are Frye's they automatically scream comfort! Great buy if you are in the market for black boots!
