Brown tile floor, brown tile walls, brown wallpaper = Too MUCH BROWN! To sum this bathroom up: the colors were all wrong, terrible layout, shower too small with no light
and a tiny glass door.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe the comment anonymous said up there... if you can't say anything nice... jeez! I think the entire bathroom is so beautiful now. Such a huge improvement!
ReplyDeleteTania :)
Thanks Tania! I agree some people just love to rain on other's parades. The shower had never even been used so it is hardly dirty. I'm heading over to check out your blog!
ReplyDeleteI really LOVE the color scheme. We just moved into a house, and the beadboard is painted Levi Blue and is really chipped up. Thanks for the inspiration. I think I'm going to copy you!!!
ReplyDeletehow did you put the beadboard up? did you put it straight ontop of the tile or take the tile down? i have a bathroom that has tile going up further on the wall than yours did and i hate it. i've thought about beadboard but didnt know if i could just glue it over the tile and it be ok.
ReplyDeleteI actually had the entire bathroom renovated by a contractor. They did total demolition on everything so the tile came down before beadboard went up. I think you would need to get the tile off first especially if it's an older house like mine where nothing is square. They nailed the beadboard in so it would be easier to do that without tile underneath. I think you could probably get the tile off yourself pretty easily. Hope that helps. Good luck with your project.
ReplyDeleteSo now I am really glad I joined in on the fun, you have some serious style and I like it!
