I am so excited to share my latest project with y'all. I've been painting paneling at my boyfriend's lake house.
So fun to watch it go from dark and dreary...
To bright cottage!
This was a tedious, time-consuming project but I could not be happier with the end result. This room will be topped off with some new light gray carpet at the end of this week. I will post additional pics when it's all decorated.
Project Details:
I primed the walls first with Kilz Latex Primer. This was against better judgement and direction. Oil-based primer is the best thing to use on paneling but I was in a bit of a time crunch with only 2 days to get this room ready. I simply didn't have drying time for oil-based. The latex seemed to work just fine I just hope the paneling color won't bleed through in time.
I rolled on 2 coats of primer and then followed with 2 coats of latex paint.
